I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Law at Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago, Chile, and currently an Honorary Associate at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Law School’s Global Legal Studies Center. My research focuses on the prosecutor-police relationship and wrongful convictions.

Visiting Scholar - University of Wisconsin Law School

Jan, 2025 - Present

Conducting research on prosecutorial oversight and criminal investigation practices with a focus on Latin America and comparative legal systems. Completing my Ph.D. dissertation under a Fulbright Scholarship for a research stay.

Adjunct Researcher and Professor - Universidad Diego Portales

Mar, 2022 - Present

Teaching courses such as Criminal Procedure, Criminal Justice Seminar, Legal Research and Writing, and Mock Trial. Conducting research for the Program on Litigation and Procedural Reforms.

• Mapping Miscarriages of Justice in Chile (w/ C. Mella). Exploratory analysis of the Proyecto Inocentes database to identify systemic patterns of wrongful convictions and near misses in Chile.
